Show POLICE RECOVER TWO CARS IN ONE CHASE , Motorcycle Patrolmen W. A. "Pierce and F. B. Tripp recovered two stolen automobiles auto-mobiles while chasing a speeder on Tenth South street last night. Whep the chase became hot and the automobile driver's capture was only a matter of a short time, a machine ahead of the one sought suddenly veered to the side of the road. The occupants of the car jumped out and disappeared as the car slowed up. Following this action the occupants of the second car slowed down their machine ma-chine and also escaped before the police could reach them. The second automobile automo-bile ran into a telephone pole. The owner of the first machine drove up as the police were inspecting the automobiles au-tomobiles and reported that his car had been stolen and that he was chasing the ; thieves. When the second automobile ! was taken to the police station Patrol-, Patrol-, men Tripp and Pierce found that they ! had discovered another stolen machine and that it was owned by D Levy of 50 East First South street. |
