Miss Scott stated she was checking up on the Y. V C A."s of the west. She greath' praised the work of the Salt Ike Y. V. C. A., which. p!io said, had performed vprv creditable work both during and since the war. In commenting on the immense scope of the organization, she declared there were 10 40 assoclntions in the TTnlted States, with over 3000 workers. She said that more than sixty hostess houses are still beinp maintained at armv camps, and that the work Is continuing in Russia Rus-sia and France. She stated that the number of persons served by the Y. Y I C. A. is above counting. j Miss Scott will leave in a few days for I Iis Anu'ples. and, after visiting "other cities, will return east. |
