Show POCATELLO FEELS SHORTAGE OF WATER Special to The Tribune. POCATELLO, Idaho, July 16. The extreme ex-treme water shortage with which the entire southeastern and southern portions of the state are afflicted is materially affecting af-fecting the water supply of the city of Pocatello, so much so, in fact, that city officials are alarmed over the probability of a serious shortage. Alec Campbell, chairman of the water committee of the city organization, has taken precaution to warn water users against the waste of water, and also to use as little water as possible for irrigation purposes during the threatened shortage. At present the city system is drawing all the available water to be had, and t he present flow represents the rpaxi-mum rpaxi-mum at this time, and the shortage is very evident. If the situation demands, stringent regulations will be enforced later. |
