Show IV1QT0RCYCL1STS HURT IN M WITH AUTO Another Machine Collides With Street Car, Injuring Mother and Baby. Vera Davis, 1G years of age, and her brother, if, O. Davis, 18 years of age, were thrown from a motorcycle to the pavement and sustained Injuries yesterday yester-day evening when they collided with an automobile said by the police to have been driven by R. R. Thoma, 1523 Fourteenth Four-teenth East street, at First avenue and M street. Davis sustained probable fractures frac-tures of two ribs on the left side of his body and his sister received a laceration on her left foot. They were taken to the emergency hospital in the police patrol by Police Chauffeur S. J. Thomas and Mr. Thoma. After receiving treatment they were taken to their residence, 32 liast Coatsville avenue. The accident occurred when the motorcycle, motor-cycle, which was traveling north on M street, ran Into the side of the automobile, automo-bile, which was going east on First avenue. ave-nue. Rideout of Draper, Utah, sustained slight body bruises and a small laceration over one eye yesterday noon when his machine was struck by a westbound street car at - the Intersection of Second South and Sixth East streets. The street car was traveling slowly and Mr. Rideout had practically stopped his machine when the collision occurred. |
