The transport Matsonia arrived today from Brest with 3214 troops, 45 war brides, 2 war children and 1 war mother-in-law. WASHINGTON, July 18. With troops on board, including 17 officers and 11!) men of the 809th ' pioneer infantry regiment, the transport Scranton arrived here today from St. Nazal re. The S09th infantry detachments included field and staff headquarters, supply company, medical med-ical detachments and companies A, B, C and E. Other units represented on board included in-cluded the 69th and 214th base hospitals; 3L'3rd. 347th and 354th buicnery companies; com-panies; 304th service park unit, 41Sth ! telegraph battalion, 40th mobile ordnance repair shop and 15th signal corps.
