Show Miscellaneous Events The Unarob swarm of Beehive girls of Granger entertained at a dinner party par-ty Saturday at the homo of Assistant Beekeeper Miss Leah Eldredge in honor of their president, Aliee Woodbury. The dining room wae decorated with pink ramblers. The centerpiece of the table was a large bowl of roses. Eaeh place-card place-card was hand-painted with a rose and symbolic name of each member. Covers were laid for the following: Mrs. Alice Woodbury, Miss Leah Eldredge, Miss Zula Curtis, Miss Mary Hoggan, Mrs. May Arnold, Miss Fannie Curtis, Miss Inez Eldredge, Miss Margarette Wallace, Wal-lace, Miss Ruth Burton, Miss Lurena Eldredge, Miss Elaine Nielson, Miss Bessie Coats, Miss Fern Eldredge, Miss Veloy Curtis, Miss Evalyn Burton, Miss , Thelma Parkinson and Miss Almira ! Eldredge. ; The members of the J. S. club were i entertained at the home of Mrs. Edgar Pryor, 833 West Sixth South street, Wednesday afternoon. The afternoon i was spent in sewing and tea was served, j Ten were present. v j ' Mrs. D. Petersen entertained Thursday Thurs-day evening with a linen shower, in honor of Mrs. Ruby Gardener, a June . bride. The rooms were decorated in pink roses. A cut glass vase of large pink roses formed the centerpiece for the supper table. The color scheme of pink and white was earned out in the refreshments. Pink roses and small pink baskets were used for place cards. Music and games were enjoyed. Prizes were won by Miss Zella Ayers and Mies Dora Peterson. Seventeen guests were in attendance. The hostess was assisted assist-ed by her isters, Miss Ruth Ford and ; Miss Clara Ford. Mr. and Mrs. A. Joseph Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. James A. Marshall, who are now occupying their summer homes in Holliday and near Union, entertained i about twenty of their friends from the citv, together with some of their neighbors, neigh-bors, at a picnic supper at the home ot Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, Saturday evening. even-ing. Mrs. J. M. Haves entertained with a luncheon Friday 'at the Hotel Utah in compliment to 'Mrs. F. E. Mir Kongo ot Alaska, who is visiting her. Covers were laid for five, including, besides the hostess host-ess and guest of honor, Mrs. Anna Goodwin, Miss Emma Austen aud Miss Marie Miller. Miss S. S. Xcslen gave a shower on Friday afternoon in honor of Miss Hazel Barnes, who will be married July 1. The house was decorated with garden flowers. Miss Lillie Wise and Miss Annette An-nette Xeslen assisted the hostess. Thirty Thir-ty guests were in attendance. Mrs. J. H. Reilley, Jr., entertained Friday afternoon in honor of Mrs. F. C. Barnes. The guests wore entertained at four tables of bridge, and others came in for tea. Tho tea tablo was decorated in yellow and brown glardia. Assisting the hostess were Mrs. A.-W. Gorey. Mrs. L. J. Hays and Miss Mary Louise Hays. |
