Show Will Pay Full Wage to Its Employees Serving in National Na-tional Guard. Packard employees who have been called out with the national guard will receive their full pay for the two weeks' period immediately following the mobilization order. This announcement was made Friday by Alvan Macauley, president of the Packard company. '"Arrangements had been made to pay the full salaries for two weeks of men who might go to military training camps this summer, and that policy is made applicable to the present situation," situa-tion," said Mr. Maeaulcy. "Furthermore, "Further-more, the time will not be counted against those who are entitled to receive vacations. ; ' On Friday one hundred and eight Packard men reported that -they were answering the call to the colors, and it is known that others joined their companies com-panies without notifying the employment employ-ment department. Upon the return of anv or all of these men to the factory they will be given their old positions or other employment paying equally well. Among Packard employees are fourteen four-teen naval reserves. |
