Show MOON DECLINES TO HELP ORGANIZATION A. T. Moon, Progressive national committeeman com-mitteeman from Utah, has declined an invitation from Norman Hapgood, formerly for-merly editor at various times of Collier's and Harper's weeklies, to take the lead in organizing a Utah branch of the Wood-row Wood-row Wilson Independent league. A telegraphic dispatch, inviting him to take the initiative in this state In the league organization, was received by Mr. Moon from Mr. Hapgood. He telegraphed back his declination of the invitation, explaining that his duties, politically and in a business way, would hardly permit of his participation In the venture. |
