The tool kit was unrolled for the first time during the trip at Denver. During the three thousand odd miles from the Atlantic coast to Denver, our entire troubles consisted of a leaky radiator replaced re-placed at Des Moines, and a fan belt tightened at Sterling. I had the valves ground at- Denver because I had plenty of time; and on the drive from Denver to Salt Lake the valve lifters were adjusted at Lyman, "Wyoming. Otherwise this Hudson Super-Six came through the grueling gruel-ing transcontinental drive of 4000 miles in perfect mechanical condition, and, so far as the car was concerned, I could have turned around and started back for New York five minutes after I arrived in Salt Lake last Monda I have driven an automobile between the eastern seaboard and Salt Lake nine different times and the Super-Six brought me through faster and more comfortably than I ever came before. It was a trip that included many interesting features for those of you who have purchased the Super-Six or who are now considering consid-ering such a purchase.
