Show WITCH OIL DURING WARMTH OF SUMMER Culmers Manager Gives Word of Advice for Summer Sum-mer Day Motorists. Too many people neglect to specify1 heavier oils at this season, and as a consequence many car owners are being imposed upon, remarked J. B. Lewis, city sales manager of the Chalmers company. He yesterday said: People sor.n to forget that the oil that worked nicely in the winter and early spring is too light for use in hot weather, and that friction fric-tion and wear are sure to result if tbe proper consistency is not used. I venture to say every fourth car you pas will show oil stains where either a choap grade oil or a high grade oil that is thin is being used, fr. On lontr trips, especially during canyon climbs, the dnnger of the car's running dry is very great, and the damage done may amount to more than a year 's running under favorable conditions. i It is not enough to say ''I use C'r-sta" or " E-Z-Jatin ; " 'the careful care-ful owner will see that he gets tho heavier consistencies of these oils until October at least. Wo are always glad to advise person!) per-son!) lly any owner who has difficulty diffi-culty in securing perfect lubrication, lubrica-tion, and to co-operato with dealers deal-ers in keeping t heir stock complete com-plete and seasonable-. We find it pays to study the y wants of the automobile owner and f supply them through dealers. . ' |
