J A HEADLUND Mr Hcadlund was born in Sweden In 1SC3 and came to the Untied States while finite a young boy He has been connected with the building trade for eighteen years the last eight being in Salt Lake City From u small beginning begin-ning Mr Hoadlund has risen to one of the I foremost architects of our rlty He Tlr t r r4P19I r of has erected over 200 bulldlncrs Including Includ-ing residences schools business blocks and manufactories In Salt Lake and neighboring cities having completed thirtysix buildings this year His most Important buildings now under construction are the McDonald Candy factory the Pearce terraces F L Parkers handsome residence on Brigham Brig-ham stieet noted for its palatial resi dencesand a number of other buildings build-ings of various descriptions and stages of completion L CL M NEUHAUSEN Mr Neuhausen was born In 1S5S and received his education In Germany He came to the United States In 1882 and niter first working In Chicago St Paul and Minneapolis came to Salt Lake City In the spring of 1S92 He entered the employ of Mr Klotling during the construction of the Saltalr pavilion and other prominent buildings 1 YY a 1 r Il Mr Xquhausea suc es In our city has beenj very flattering and some of oui mos beautiful and important buildings were designed by him among which are the amsSt Anns orphanage or-phanage and D FWalker building His most Important l buildings now in course of construction are the beautiful beauti-ful and palatial residences for Senator Kearns and J D Wood also the St Marys Roman Catholic Cathedral and All Hallows college which will materially ma-terially add to the architectural grandeur gran-deur of the city
