oil In limited quantities has brought to the add of local capital some of lhe best experts and strong financial support from nearly every oil field in tho United Stales The oil companies at worlc In the several districts In Utah and the ad Joining States are making rapid progress pro-gress and wells are being bored almost regardless of expense The outside cap ital enlisted In this new work will hasten the development of the fields and have a beneficial Influence on many othcr lines of trade The Casppr Wyoming district has been producing and refining oil for Several years At Lander Wyo many gushers have been plugged and oil from other wells Is going to waste for lack of the necessary transportation facilities Western Wyoming presents a promis ing field for permanct highgrade oIL Several weather such as may be experienced In some of the fields further north There is no lack of funds to push the development work that has already been started and the number of rigs already on the fields will bo more than doubled early In the spring Some new companies have been recently organ izedLargo Largo orders are still going East for all kinds of oil well supplies but the amount of such outlays Is small In comparison with the capital tlmtis coming Into Utah nnd western Wyo ming for Investment In oil lands and oil clocks Where Investors have failed to secure exceptionally choice oil lands they have bought stock In some of the most promising companies and are sat isfied to await the results of further development work Initial steps have already been taken toward the organization of an oil exchange ex-change and a meeting will be held early in the month to perfect the or ganization and to take the necessary action for securing a hall for the busi ness of the exchange The promoters of the exchange have the hearty support of some of the managers of large oil companies and are confident that a good business will be transacted in oil certificates as soon as the exchange is opened
