Show Its cookie thme sigmn . Across Utah and in neighboring Fredonia, Ariz., more than 6,000 Girl Scouts are preparing for the Utah Girl Scout Council's 54th annual cookie sale. Girl Scouts will . be taking orders from Feb. 19-March 19-March 1. The cookies are $2 per box and will be delivered between April 4-19. 4-19. A portion of cookie sale proceeds pro-ceeds goes directly to local troops for activities such as camping, special spe-cial projects, and trips. Other proceeds pro-ceeds support council needs such as resident camp and enrichment program costs. For each box sold, individual Girl Scouts receive credits cre-dits which can be redeemed for merchandise and camping and council event fees. Last year, more than 750,000 boxes of cookies were sold to Utah customers. Lisa Kaye Anderson, Salt Lake, was the council's top seller, delivering 3,600 boxes of ... .. u w vrv g cookies. The seven varieties of Girl Scout cookies are: thin mints, echos, samoas, do-si-dos, tagalongs, trefoils tre-foils and chocolate chunks.
