Show M. S. Templeton LAYTON Mildred E. Steed Templeton, 67, of 1611 Stanford St., died Monday, Feb. 15, 1988 at her home of congestive heart failure. fai-lure. She was born Aug. 28, 1920 in Clifton, Ida., a daughter of Ira R. and Elvina Johnson Steed, Jr. She married Robert Allen Templeton, Tem-pleton, Nov. 18, 1944 in Kaysville. She was reared and educated in Farmington and graduated from Davis High School. She was a member of the Layton 36th LDS Ward and worked at Max Factor and for the Marquardt Corporation. Cor-poration. She enjoyed flowers, gar- . dening and quilting. Surviving are her husband of Layton, four daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Judy) Carter), Ogden; Mrs. Alan (Barbara) Thurgood, Syracuse; Mrs. Darlene Maestas, Layton; Mrs. Rodney (Carolyn) Shepherd, Levan; nine grandchildren grandchil-dren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary. Funeral services were held Feb. 18 with Bishop Preston Lloyd officiating. offi-ciating. Family prayer was offered by Rodney W. Shepherd; prelude, Becky Redford; "That Wonderful Mother of Mine' by Robert L. Bright; invocation, Effie Barnes; remarks, Bishop Preston Lloyd; speakers, Ruth Fuller and Alan F. Thurgood; "In My Father's House Are Many Mansions" by Robert L. Bright; benediction, Lynn Harris. Dedication of the grave was by Alan F. Thurgood with interment in the Farmington City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rodney W. Shepherd, Alan F. Thurgood, Floyd Steed, Byron Eddards, Marty Mar-ty Martinez and Steve Mabey. |
