Show CONJECTURING UPON WALTON'S SUCCESSOR Outside of the big reunion and reorganization re-organization meeting planned for February Feb-ruary 12, Bull Moosers of Utah jnst now are interested roost in who will succeed Senator Wesley JC Walton as I chairman of the Progressive state cen- j tral committee. I Among those mentioned prominently In this connection are Stephen H. Love, Parley P. Christensen, W. D. Livingston Living-ston and X. A. Robertson, secretary of the Progressive State committee. Ever since Senator Walton announced his intention of retiring there has been considerable speculation ns to who his successor would be. Because of the various factions in the party there are not many who aspire to the chairmanship. chairman-ship. All realize the conditions under which Senator Walton was compelled to serve during tho recent campaign and the obstacles ob-stacles he was called upon to overcome. Xovr that the factions have shown a desire to get together, there is more or less anxiety that the proper man be selected to hold them together during the next four years. |
