Show r t PRESTON, IDAHO V 4 : f PRESTON. Idaho, Jan. 27. A dancing party was given in the Blue Villa hall by Mrs. G. Paull Friday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Belnap. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Chatterton, Mr. and Mrs. W. Lohman, Mr. and Mrs. ti. Paull. Mr. and Mrs. F. H. DePuy, Mr. and Mrs. W. Thorpe. Mr. and Mrs. H. ; Hitchcock, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Edteon, Mr. and Mrs. J. Wood, Mr. and Mrs. H. Greaves, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Belnap, Mr. and Mrs. Pack, Mrs. E. Cord, Mrs. It. Cayman and Mrs. W. FJeldstead. Mrs. Wilford Chatterton spent the first part, of the week in Franklin as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Parkinson. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Goodwin of Logan, Utah, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Hurst of this city. i Friday evening, at the Whitney meet- ing house, a farewell party was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dunkley, - who left Monday for a mission to the ' eastern states. The social was given un-'' un-'' der the auspices of the" Y. L. M. I. A. and the Y. M. M. I. A. Mrs. P. "C. NIelson returned to her home in Banida Friday afternoon after spending spend-ing a week visiting her children here. Amos Belnap left Saturday morning for Ogden. Mrs. Belnap will leave the first of February. Many farewell parties have been given the past week by the M. I. A. and also by friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Hurst entertained at dinner Monday evening in honor of Mr. V"and Mrs. C. C. Goodwin of Logan, Utah. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Dives, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gollghty, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Chatterton and Miss Margaret Mar-garet Brower. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Hope and daughter Venice of Franklin were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Buchell a few days last week. Mrs. R. S. Kinter was hosteBS to the members of the Union Social club Friday Fri-day afternoon. The time was spent in needlework and music. At 4:30 o'clock a dalntv luncheon was served to nine guest's. After luncheon a sleighing party, was arranged. Mrs. E. F. Bennett of Oneida Narrows was the guest of Mrs. R. S. Kinter at dinner Thursday. Tuesday evening a surprise party was tendered Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Geddes by a number of their friends. After a pleasant pleas-ant evening spent In dancing and games a dainty luncheon was served to guests numbering forty. Preparations are being made by the M. I. A. stake board to celebrate the seventh sev-enth anniversary week of the Boy Scouts of America, Sunday, February 3, 1b set apart as M. L A. boy scout evening. |
