William Holmes, secretary-treasurer of the company, says that the development work includes a thirty-foot drift from the Iron blow-out to the contact, where an 18-lnch vein of lea1 -si Ivor ore was struck. The assays are given as 24.9 per cent lend, 34 ounces silver and .02 of an ounce sold. Seepage checked the development work at this point and the company started a tunnel at a point 150 feet below the drift. This tunnel is now In eighty feet and when 125 feet Is reached connection will be made with the drift. This will permit the development of the proved ore body ' and beginning of shipments. E. T.
