Show WOMAN HELD TO BE MENTALLY EXAMINED A woman giving the name of Mrs. E. B. Minnick, 37 years of age, who refused re-fused to disclose her address, was lodged in the county jail yesterday folfowing attention which she received at the emergency hospital Fridav night, when she was admitted to the hospital suffering from dementia. She is being held for mental examination. The woman is said to have rushed wildlv into a store on South Second West' street and to have stated that she had swallowed poison. The patrol wagon was called and the woman removed re-moved to the hospital, where an emetic was administered with successful result. re-sult. Owing to her wild behavior, it became necessary to put her in a restraining sheet at the hospital. She succeeded ! in wrenching herself loose upon one occasion and attacked William Robin- , son. the steward. She was again put under restraint. Yesterday morning she appeared somewhat calmer and was removed re-moved to the jaiL |
