RIDGE AND VALLEY IS CROWDING WORK Special to The Tribune. EUREKA. Aug. 17. Much development develop-ment work is being done in the Ridge & Valley and Gemini mines, contract drifts being sent out into new ground on the loOO, 1600 and 1700 levels, where conditions condi-tions appear to bo favorable for getting into some new ore bodies. On the 1S00 level of the Ridge & Valley a drift is being sent out toward the north 'hrough the big ore body which has been yielding a good tonnage for some time. Stoping operations are also under w-av in this same portion of the property. Leasing operations are now permitted in a portion of the Eureka Mines ground which is worked through the -Gmini, and some ore is being mined. ' The work which the Eureka Mines company has been doing will be stopped in order that the leasers may -work without interruption.
