Show STATE PARDON BOARD GRABire3 PAROLES Ed Lederman, S. E. Green and James Brown Are Given Clemency. Forty-four petitions for clemency were denied by the state board of pardons par-dons yesterday, the chief reason for so many refusals being that so many cases were under consideration, there being eighty-six in all.- But three paroles were granted, these being accorded to Ed Lederman, S. E. Green and James Brown, each of whom is serving sentence in minor convictions. convic-tions. J. H. Bunker, serving on conviction of petit larceny, was denied a pardon at-the May meeting of the board, but it had. allowed his application to stand. When his i ase was reached yesterday it was found the man's time was up and he will be automatically released.
