Show CITED TO ANSWER CONTEMPT CHARGE An order was issued yesterday by Judge P. C. Evans of the Third district court citing the officers of the Randall-Dodd Automobile company and their counsel, Attorney Thomas Ramage, into court to show cause why they should not be punished pun-ished for contempt for filing suit against Howard Hout, receiver of the Daisy stage line, without consent of J.he court. It was made returnable, August 26. The action against Hout was a replevin proceeding in the United States district court to recover possession of certain automobiles au-tomobiles sold to Hout by the automobile company. In the affidavit filed by Houfs counsel as the basis for the citation, it is alleged that at the time of the action Hout was holding the automobiles as receiver for the Daisy stage line. The order of the state court yesterday also restrains the Randall-Dodd people from further action in the federal court until the contempt issue shall be decided. |
