Show GOVERNOR TO ATTEND FUNERAL OF SOLDIER OGDEN, AiifT. 17. Joseph Leo Jones, the young man from Hooper, who died while in the United States army at Camp Upton, N. T., will be buried tomorrow afternoon with full military and state honors. Governor Bamberger and other state officers will attend and a squad of regular soldiers from Fort Douglas also will participate. The services will be held at the Hooper ward chapel, Bishop James R. Beus officiating, of-ficiating, at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Governor Bamberger will be one of the speakers. . The music will be furnished by. the ward choir. The escort of fifteen soldiers will fire the salute over the grave and a bugler will sound taps. The casket will be draped with a large American flag. Interment will be made in the Hooper cemetery. Sergeant James Hugh Jones of Seattle, attached to the base hospital at Camp Upton, who accompanied the body to Off-den, Off-den, left last night for the camp. |
