Show OVERLAND HOLDS DISTANCE RECORD J. J. Curt ia the owner of nn Overland Over-land model S6, purchased in 1916, which has hardly stopped going once during the on tire period, according to Sales Manager Edmonds of the Browning Automobile Au-tomobile company, local distributors of the Willys-Overland line. According to Edmonds, Curt uses his Overland as a bus, carrying passengers between Durvea and Wilkes-Barre, Pa. JUist April his total recorded mileage was 3 04,000. During all of this remarkable remark-able service he has never had the car in for repairs, and four of the original spark plugs are still in use. He keeps his car almost continuously on the move and employs three drivers; the first from 6 o'clock in the morning until noon, another driver from noon until 6 in the evening, and still another an-other who drives the car until 1 in the morning. Mr. Curt says that for a year the radiator has never been cold. "The motor and all working parts of the car are still in good condition in spite of the hard service this car has been through,'' said Curt, "and it is running as well today as it ever did." |
