Capture of the village of Frapellc, in the Vosgcs. is I announced in General Pershing's com-I com-I munique for Saturday, made public to-I to-I night by the war department. General Pershing's communique for Saturday reads: "In the Vosgcs our troops in the course of successful lncnl attacks captured the village of Krapclle. "Yesterday, in Lorraine, one of our aviators shot down a hostile machine." "Yesterday, in the course of a eomhat in the region of Flirey, our aviators shot down a hostile machine. Tho following details of the aerial combat have been reported : " 'Lieuteant Stiles and Lieutenant Drew j engaged four Fokker biplanes over Flirey j on A ugust 15. One of the planes was brought down, Lieutenant Stiles and Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Drew being credited equally with the destruction of tho machine.' "
