The war office tonight to-night issued the following- statement on the operations in I'icardy and Flanders: Our line north of Froyart was slightly slight-ly advanced last niht, and today protrress has been mode by our troops on a front of nearly a mile north of Liihons. A few prisoners and machine ma-chine puns were taken by us. Durinsr I he earlier part of the nifrht tho enemy attacked certain of our posts in the Scherpenberg sector, and was repulsed after sharp fighting. A raid attempted by the enemy 'early this morning- in the neighborhood of I-ocre also was beaten off, leaving ! prisoners in our hands. I
