PLANT IS DESTROYED BY INCENDIARY FIRE FRESNO, Cal.. Aug. 17. Fire at Han-ford, Han-ford, Cal.,' believed by the authorities to have been of incendiary origin, early this morning totally destroyed the fruit plant of the Central California Fruit Canning corporation, including the fresh fruit cannery, dried fruit packing house, a large warehouse and four homes near by. The loss was estimated at $200,000. Han ford authorities announced that all fire alarm wires in the vicinity had been cut before the fire started. Police and the sheriff's office of Kings county were investigating. This was the fourth large fire in the district in three weeks, the total loss being estimated at $1,500,000. Three former for-mer fires were in Fresno, two blocks of business buildings and two planing mills having been totally destroyed late at night.
