An exceptional record for steady, uninterrupted un-interrupted use under the most trying conditions has been made by the one-ton one-ton Republic motor truck, which was purchased about a year and a haif ago from the Iutermountain Oldsmo-bile Oldsmo-bile company, and whicj has been used every day since that time by the Kceley Ice Cream company, according to Superintendent Su-perintendent Davis of the Keeley ice cream factory Besides this one-ton model, the Keeley company employs a Republic Dispatch, which has nua.de almost as good a record as the one-ton model. Both these trucks have been used practically every day, carrying heavy loads in winter and summer, over good roads and bad, and Air. Davis asserts that they could always al-ways be depended upon for speed when needed and for etaying powers as well. Another conspicuous feature 1 of the Eepublic trucks, says Mr. Davis, is the low cost of operating them. Although other makes of trucks have been used by the Keeley company, Mr. Davis affirms af-firms that the Republics are by far the most economical of gasoline, oil and upkeep costs. He attributes this exceptional thrifti-ness thrifti-ness to the way the Republics are built sturdy, yet as light as they can be made to stand the biggest strain that will ever be placed on them. The remarkably re-markably efficient motor and the celebrated cele-brated Republic-Torbensen internal gear drive also make for economy and dependability, de-pendability, in his opinion. The Intermountain Oldsmobile company com-pany is prepared to make immediate delivery de-livery on practically all the Republic models.
