Show County ski school sets final session By GARY R. BLODGETT Registration for the third, and final, session of the Davis County Ski School will be held Saturday at five locations throughout the county, coun-ty, according to Russell Whitaker, , ski school director. Signup will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Colonial Gift and Floral Center, 566 W. 2600 S., Bountiful; Farmington City Office, 130 N. Main, Farmington; Clearfield Swim Pool, 934 S. 1000 E., Clearfield; Clear-field; and the Johnson residence, 5539 S. 2200 W., Roy. There will be three package-offers package-offers to all who register: (1) $60 which includes five lessons and bus transportation to and from the ski resort; (2) $30 which includes only five lessons (individual transportation transporta-tion must be furnished); and (3) $45 which includes transportation only. Lift passes are not included. Sessions will begin Feb. 6 and continue for five consecutive Saturdays. All sessions will be at Snow Basin and Alta Ski Resorts, and lift passes must be purchased separately. At Snow Basin, ski lift passes range from $9 to $16. At Alta, half-day half-day ski passes begin at $8 and vary up to $16 for all-day passes. There will be several transportation transporta-tion pickup stations. Buses will depart de-part for the resorts at 7:30 a.m. sharp and will return by approximately approxi-mately 4:30 p.m. Class instructors for lessons will be certified ski instructors and fiMBnuuuMaHm classes will be limited to 12 students stu-dents with a minimum age of 10. Pickup points for the Snow Basin Resort are Bountiful Junior High, Centerville Junior High, Farmington School District, Kaysville Kays-ville Junior High, Layton High School, Clearfield High School, Sunset Junior High, and Smith Food King in Roy. AltakReorpdupjouits will be Bountiful Junior High, Bountiful High, and South Davis Junior High. North Davis County residents preferring Alta must provide pro-vide their own transportation to one of the pickup stations in the Bountiful area.
