MERKLEY Elder Merkley to serve LDS mission Elder John Edward Merkley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Merkley has been called to serve in the Pennsylvania Penn-sylvania Harrisburg mission for the LDS church. He will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo on May 28. A farewell testimonial in his honor will be held May 24 at the Maeser Third Ward chapel at 9:45 a.m. Elder Merkley graduated from Uintah High School with the class of '80. He was active in football and served as studentbody vice president. He was a four year seminary graduate. He has been employed in construction con-struction the past year.
