The sixth grade at the elementary w ill be moved to West Junior High. The transfer was necessary because of the overcrowded conditions at Todd Elementary. The Todd students, about 35, will not be integrated into the junior high. The committees are alternatives to building construction, special needs of new students coming into the district, curriculum review committee, a financial committee to determine the most economical method of constructing con-structing new schools, effective methods of maintaining quality personnel per-sonnel in the district and public relations. The district invites interested citizens to apply for one of the committees. com-mittees. Negotiating teams to represent the Board of Education this year were announced. Frank Andreasen will represent the board as chairman to negotiate with the classified personnel; Grant Drollingcr will negotiate with the teachers and Superintendent Phil Ellis will negotiate with administrators for salaries. The board approved a $1.50 increase in elementary fees upon recommendation recom-mendation from principals. Lyle Southam, principal at Maeser Elementary, told the board tliat next year's activities at his school were in jeopardy unless they increase the activity fee to $5.
