Show Ballard resident dies in Payson T. Golden Collins, 73, of Ballard, died May 18, 1981 in Payson, Utah. Born Oct. 25, 1907 to William and Mary Garrett Collins, he married Florell Louise Mary in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Nov. 26, 1930. She died Dec. 21, 1977. Mr. Collins was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as bishop and high councilman as well as many other positions. He was a wholesale distributer in northeastern Utah for. Standard Oil from 1956-1970. He was Justice of the Peace for 12 years and served on the Uintah County Library Board. He was also active in Ballard City community affairs. : He is survived by eight sons and daughters, Mrs. Orlan (Myrtle) Cook, Clyde M., Allen L., and Thomas G. all of Ballard, Boyd D. of Salt Lake City-Mrs. City-Mrs. Earl (Mary) Taylor of Eureka Utah, Mrs. Duane (Kaye) Frisby of . Payson, Mrs. Ricky (Gaye) Berg of, Gooding, Idaho; 26 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Mrs. Mary; Mackey, Leslie Collins, and Owen . Collins all of Salt Lake City and Mrsr Dick (Chlorus) Scholes of Roosevelt. " The funeral will be Thursday, May 21; at 2 p.m. at the Ballard-Roosevelt First -' Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the'.
