' , , , J ' . , L AGNES MAUDE WILLIAMS Agnes Williams interred in Upalco Cemetery Agnes Maude Williams, 80, died in the Uintah County Hospital following a cardiac arrest, May 17, 1981. Born in Woodland, Utah in Summit County, she was the daughter of Emanuel B. and Eliza A. Lamborn Murphy. She married Samuel Williams June 24, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a homemaker and member of the Vernal 9th Ward where she served in the Primary and Relief Society. She is survived by her husband of Vernal; sons and daughters, Shirl Williams of Malad, Idaho, Mrs. Floyd (Doris) Mecham of South Jordan, and Mrs. Glendon (Zola) Hanberg of Vernal; seven granchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Elwin (Geneva) Williams of Murray, Utah. Funeral services were Wednesday, May 20 in the Vernal 9th Ward Chapel. Bishop Roland W. Hein was in charge of the service. Tim Hanberg gave the family prayer. Following a duet at the service, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," by Cyndie Fountaine and Kristy Sullivan, Duane Hanberg gave the invocation. Bishop Hein gave some remarks. Ariel Michie spoke and Robyn Richins and Cindy Young played an organ and piano duet, "O My Father." Glendon Hanberg Han-berg spoke and a men's quartet, Bishop Kenneth Anderson, Dale Cameron, Loren Jepsen and Ronald Walker sang, "Not Now, But In the Coming Years," accompanied by Cyndie Fountaine. Blaine Watson gave the benediction. Prelude and postlude music was by Maureen Johnson. Burial was in the Upalco Cemetery and Kenneth Carrell dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were Blaine Watson, Tim Hanberg, Kelly Hanberg, Burke Hanberg, Wade Williams, and Duane Hanberg. The Vernal 9th Ward Relief Society was in charge of the flowers. |
