Show Red Fleet campground bids opened Bids on the Red Fleet Reservoir campground cam-pground and recreation project and access ac-cess road paving were opened in the Duchesne office of the Bureau of Reclamation Tuesday morning. The apparent low bidder was J. M. Sumsion & Sons, Spanish Fork at $711,050. Other bidders were Rick Jensen Construction Co., Draper, $768,286 and Groneman Construction Co., Provo, $775,405. The engineer's estimate was $877,000. . The project, which is located on the west approach to the reservoir near the fooat ramp includes the following: Constructing two 6 unit comfort stations, sta-tions, one with an attached fish cleaning clean-ing station. Constructing a 38 by 24 foot prefabricated modular building with attached 20 by 24 foot garagestorage area. Constructing a trailer dump station, visitor turnout, and maintenance building and well access road. Furnishing and installing an electrical elec-trical supply and distribution system. Constructing sewage disposal system with a grinder pump station and two 5,000 gallon septic tanks and disposal field. Constructing a water supply and distribution system including a 10,000 gallon fiberglass water storage tank. Paving about 2.0 miles of existing access ac-cess road and approximately 100,000 square feet of campground parking area. Constructing 61 sheltered picnic tables with campfire circles and pedestal grill units. Constructing approximately 4,000 feet of campground foot trails and laying lay-ing cold asphalt plant mix. Bids on the Tyzack Aqueduct Project, expected to approach $20 million, are scheduled to be opened Thursday, May 21 at 10 a.m. in the Duchesne Bureau of Reclamation office. |
