Show UBAVC graduation to be held May 27 The Business, Trades and Industry Departments at the Uintah Basin Area Vocational Center will hold a graduation and awards luncheon Wednesday, May 27, at the UBAVC from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Forty-six students will either graduate or receive a one year completion com-pletion certificate. Featured on the program will be student speakers and guest speaker, Representative Alarik Myrin. Catherine Trowbridge, board member of Duchesne County and UBAVC school boards will give some remarks as well as award the student certificates. The students to be honored are: MeriLee Allred, two year certificate for administrative secretary; Judy Myrick, general clerk; LaTeisha Scholl, two year certificate for business management, and Colleen Washington, two year clerk-typist certificate. Receiving one year certificates in business include: Geneva Ankerpont, Linda Appawoo, Yvonne Curry, Dixie Dean, Alice DuShane, Dorothea Garcia, Nancy Hillegiest, Raquel Ice, Lana Lirette, Gwenita Pawwinnee, Rochelle Peterson, Irea Santio, Clarinda Weston, Leslie Rants, Lori Oaks, Camille Hacking. Sherry Stone, Kathy Viaramontes, and Deobrah Guy. Graduating from the one year petroleum program with a one year certificate include: Garnett Massey, Chuck Daniels, Les Bennett, George Miller, Fred Spaulding, John Kunzler, Alan Kunzler, Kary Eldredge, DeVona Ross, Rob Holmes, Jim Justice, Doyle Haslem, Roger Hicken, Chris Sapp, Bruce Otterson, Rick Ward, Beverly Iacovetta, Michelle Huggins, Eric Houtz, Julie Wilckens, Tracy Neilson and LaRae Kendricks. Instructors for post secondary programs at the UBAVC include Billie Birch, Geo Jane Riding, Sherry Bolton, Dick Jones and Bruce Brighton. The public is invited to attend.
