Show COUPLE OBSERVES GOLDEN WEDDING Mr. and Mrs. Peter Johnson of Brig-ham Brig-ham City Entertain Relatives and Friends. Special to The Tribune. BRIGHAM CITY, May 11. Married fifty years yesterday, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pe-ter Johnson of the Second ward, this city, celebrated the event in the First ward amusement hall. The family and near relatives, to the number of fifty-eight, fifty-eight, met early in the afternoon. The preparation of the wedding feast occupied occu-pied considerable time for the women. The entire company was seated at the banquet table. During the progress of the dinner a historical sketch of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson was read. In way of wedding presents Mr. Johnson John-son was presented a gold watch and chain and Mrs. Johnson was the recipient recipi-ent of a gold ring. The evening was spent listening to a programme and in dancing. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson's family fam-ily consists of sis children, thirty-two grandchildren and jseven great grandchildren. grand-children. The aged couple are enjoying enjoy-ing good health. |
