Tire & Rubber company, grew eloouent the other day iu describing describ-ing the strict methods employed at the Akron, Ohio, factory in building the famed U. S.' casings. Here is how he told it: "Every United States tire must pass many searching inspections before it goes forth to you. "At every stage of production keen-eyed keen-eyed inspectors are watching. No slightest imperfection can pass. "Every tire that goes through must be a . oroughbred a perfectly balanced production, sound in every respect and able to maintain the supreme sorvice that distinguishes United States tires. ' ' This rigid system has helped us to accomplish large-scale production of good tires to lowTer mileage costs, and to ma.e tire dependability a reality. "Buy United States tires and get the merit and stamina insured by our gaunt-lot gaunt-lot of inspection the unfailing dependability depend-ability that has brought tremendous increases in-creases in the sales of United States tires during the past twelve months." Mr. Theobold added: "Now is the time for all dealers and car owners to get busy and equip their store or cars with ample tires for the season. The fact that a tire shortage impends along with many other shortages, because of the war effort of the nation, is more real than figurative. The recent advance ad-vance on tires Was only the beginning. Now is the time for dealers to anticipate antici-pate their wants, and car owners to lay in a full set of new casings.
