Estimated Esti-mated liberally, officials state that 151,000 tons of all (Trades of chrome ore will ho required In 1918 to fill the demand. Reduced Re-duced to the 50 per cent chrome grade average, this means 146,000 tons are needed. As Automotive Industrie stated last week, 80.000 tons of 50 per cent chrome have been located in storehouses throughout the country. Iast year's total to-tal production was 70.000 tons, including 25,000 tons of 46 per cent grade from Brazil and 14.000 tons of 50 per cent grade from rhiba, with the balance from New Caledonia. |
