Show QUARTERMASTER AGENT DIES AT FORT L. A. Humphrey, quartermaster 's agent at Fort Douglas, died at his residence resi-dence late Friday night. Mr. Humphrey was a native of New York and entered the government service ser-vice in 1-S88 at Strong City, Kan., later serving at Bordeau, Cheyenne and Rawlins, Raw-lins, Wyo.; Price, Utah, and Ogden, where he has spent the greater part of the last twenty-one years. He was transferred to Fort 'Douglas last December. De-cember. He leaves a widow, Ella Burch Humphrey, and two children, Lorena F., aged 19, and Fredrick Arnold, aged 13. Funeral services will be held in Salt Lake, while interment -will be in Ogden City cemetery. |
