Show BORDER SMUGGLERS' OPERATIONS EXPOSED Opium and Cocaine in Large Quantities Brought Across Border Through El Paso and San Antonio. HAN FRANCISCO, May ll. Operations Opera-tions of a gang of alleged smugglers, said to bave brought hundreds of thousands thou-sands of dollars' worth of opium and cocaine into the United States from Mexico through El Paso and San Antonio An-tonio in the. last two years, were revealed re-vealed here today in a confession by T. Davis was arrested yesterday wheu federal officials made a number of raids here which netted more than $50,000 worth of contraband drugs. Warrants were issued for the arrest of Nathan, Abraham and Jacob Hcharl-ing Hcharl-ing of San Francisco and Jacob Kobe of Honolulu, alleged members of Iho smuggling smug-gling ring.
