In speaking of Congressman and Mrs. Howell's contemplated departure from Vcllsvlllc, a correspondent to the "News," from that place, says: "Mr. and Mrs. Howell arc making preparations to leave here during the present month, much to the regret of all classes of the people. Mr. Howell is one of the best types of high-minded, high-minded, public spirited citizens, whose numbers arc unfortunately too few. Ills departure from amongst us cannot can-not be viewed as less than a calamity to tho whole community. Ills amicable amica-ble wife, who also occupies the position posi-tion of stake president of the Relief society will be missed to an extent that words fall to describe. The name of Mary Howell has been tho synonym of large-hearted generosity and motherly sympathy to every homo in the ward.
