Show President Hrlgham Young died at 10:40 o'clock last Saturday night. The life and career of Hrlgham Young is well known to this community. He lived nearly to the age allotted to man, being 07 years of age at his death. He had suffered greatly for the past three years, his death being caused by dropsy. Hrlgham Young has been a good and useful man through his life, a man prosesscd of moral and physical courage. He did a great deal of good; at times placing himself In dangerous places to protect the homes and rights of the people that ho loved. During the administration of his father as President of the church, Hrlgham, Jr. was always by his side, helping to relieve his father of all the abors that were upon him. Hrlgham Young, though but'a boy,rcmembcred well the privations and sufferings of he Saints at their exodus from Nau-voo. Nau-voo. From tho beginning unto the end, he was not only constant and loyal loy-al to his people, but their defender In many ways that the people know nob of. lie was the Presiding Apostle In this stake for about three or four years. The Saints who lived In this county ln"thc seventies are well acquainted ac-quainted with the character of this good man. It was a relief to him when his spirit lied for he had suffered untold agonies. He realized for some time that his days of usefulness were past and was therefore reconciled to the will of Him who doeth all things well. The bereaved family will have the sympathy of all the community. |
