The great war in Europe has caused a fresh interest in the study of the New Testament Apocalyoee. Many that have never looked at the book before are now reading its symbols and signs as though it were but recently given to the world. In answer to numerous requests, Dr Bowerman of the Immanuel Baptist church begins this evening a special series se-ries of ten lectures upon this wonderful book. The lectures will be on successive Sunday evenings. The first, on next Sunday, Sun-day, is preparatory for the series and will consider the "Three Great Lessons From the War." Some things have already heen learned. Three great things are becomln more and more evident. The lectures in their order will be: (1) "Three Great Lessons Les-sons From the War." (2) "The Church in the Field of History." (3) "The Sealed Roll Opened." (4) "The First Six Trumpets." Trum-pets." (5) "The Temple and the Two Witnesses. " (6) "The Three Great Enemies Ene-mies of the Church." (7) "The Seven Bowls." (8) "The Great Babylon " (9) "The Judgment of the Beast, the False Prophet and Satan." (10) "The New Jerusalem." There will also be fine pos-pel pos-pel singing by the large chorus and the quartette. This will be a large feature in. the Immanuel services.
