Sisler Is a pitcher by trade, but he looks like one of the greatest all-around all-around ball players that have appeared along the horizon for many moons. When he isn't pitching. Sisler plays first base, and he plays it a la Hal Chase. He's a real batter. He Fteps. into the ball and when he meets it it whistles like a cannon shot, and Sisler. on oases, doesn't need to sniff the dust of very many other American leojruers.
