Show GOODY! LEADS IN TIRE EQUIPMENT More New Cars Fitted With These Tires Than Any Other Make. "During the twelve months ending July 1 , 19 !.",, Goodyear held and strengthened its place as a tire company com-pany which equips more automobiles than manufacturers of other makes," savs P. W, Senour, local manager of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber company. He said. For 1916 not only have all manufacturers' man-ufacturers' contracts, heic previously, previ-ously, been continued, but such high grade cars as Packard, Hudson, Jeff err. Locomobile, Locomo-bile, Mitchell, Franklin "and others have been added. As the great automobile au-tomobile industry has gotten squaieu away for real practical growth, it has become evident that automobile tires, like other commodities com-modities expected to give service, must be sold upon merit and performance. per-formance. Motorists, since they have obtained ob-tained a voice in the original tire equipment on their cars, are more discriminating dow than ever before be-fore in their selection of tires. In a time when competition is keener than ever, with many tire manufacturers manufac-turers eager for a share of this business, the fact that Goodyear tops the list in number of cars equipped, speaks volumes for the prestige of Goodyear tires and the favor in which they are held by motorists. It is interesting to note that G-oodyeara not only equip a larger percentage of all new cars than any other tire, but also that more different dif-ferent manufacturers use them. This means a wider distribution. , As Goodyear sells tires to nearly every manufacturer in the country, large or small, there is scarcely an automobile dealer in the country who does not get some Goodyear tires on the cars he handles. This naturally creates a demand for renewals re-newals of our tires, as a tire which ha given satisfactory service ia bound to create a demand for renewals re-newals of the same make. Goodyear quality and dependability, dependabil-ity, the ability of our large factory to make satisfactory shipments at all times, the advantages offered by our branches and service stations, and the great volume of our national na-tional advertising, have enabled us to retain, vear after year, a position po-sition in the tire field not approached ap-proached by any other. We are now using 10 per cent of the world's production of crude rubber, which indicates the magnitude magni-tude of our operations in the tire field. We confidently expect that our automobile tire production for this vear will be well over the 2,-000,000 2,-000,000 mark. His Rest Was Broken. O. D.
