The long drought ha& had the I effect of producing melons of a aire and flavor that have not been eicelled in years. A few days ago a forty-five-pound watermelon was placed on display In a local store. Today M. P. Brown, a. farmer of the Roy district, delivered to s. local firm twelve melons that average forty , pounds each. Twenty and thLrty-pound melons are :ornmon on the lOi-al market tbls year.
