SINKING SHAFT ON DORA JANE GROUP The work of sinking the main shaft b the Dora Jane group of claims, located in the Goldstrike mining district, twen-tv-eight miles south of Modena, in Washington county, is going rapidlv forward for-ward under the direction of G. H. rlavs, former partner in the Hays-Monette Mohawk Mo-hawk lease in the Goldtield district in Nevada. The new shaft is now down beyond the fiftv-foot point and it will be sunk an additional twenty-five feet before any attempt is made to cross-cut the ledge."
