Show READY FOR HOLIDAY. Pocatello Citizens to Have Parade and Sport Programme on Labor Day. Special to The Tribune. POCATELLO, Idaho, Sept. 4. At the last regular meeting of the city council J250 was appropriated to furnish decorations decora-tions for the Labor day celebration. In addition to that sum, the labor organizations organiza-tions have spent several thousand dollars on the big: day's sports and other events. The Oregon Short Line has granted a special excursion rate from towns within a radius of 150 miles. An industrial parade has been planned, and 2000 men who are employed bv the Short Line will participate. All of the crafts have entered floats and liberal donations do-nations have been made for them. The carpenters' union has expended $1000 on a float for the occasion. A full list of sports, with prizes, has been prepared. |
