OREM 63 VIEWMONT 49 VIEWMONT 59 CYPRUS 40 The Vikes moved to 6-2 on the preseason, losing to Orem on Tuesday Tues-day and coming back to win at Cyprus Cy-prus on Thursday. At Orem, the Vikes dropped a game despite the . play of junior Jenny Siddoway, who ; canned five three-pointers enroute : to a game-high 17 points. Melissa Eggctt added 10, sophomore Jen- nifer Jones eight, Kim Blackham seven and Tiffany Twitchell four. On Thursday, the Vikes, who've played just one home game thus far, traveled to Cyprus, coming home ' with a big win. Again, "Subway" : Siddoway led the way with 17 points, and again had five three-pointers, three-pointers, while Jones added 13, :; ' Twitchell 12, Eggett nine and Blackham eight. BOUNTIFUL 49 ALTA : 44BOUNTIFUL 55 GRANITE 43 The Braves moved to 5-2 on the ' year as they captured two games : last week. The E Lady Braves got balanced scoring trom four starters, as Stephanie Reading had 12, Julia Thornley scored 11 and both Robyn Ludwig and Maegan Mackay tossed in 10. Thomley led the way on Thursday Thurs-day as Bountiful beat Granite, "Judd" scoring 15 points, Jessica Olson adding 13 and Reading 10. WOODS CROSS 60 SKYLINE 40 The Wildcats moved to 2-4 on the year with a big win at Skyline. Junior Dawn Britton led the way with 22 points, Carolyn Knight had 18 points and 13 rebounds, Amy Turman had 10 points and nine boards, and Andrea Wilcox also had 10 points and nine rebounds. ROY 51 DAVIS 41 The Lady Darts played well in dropping a game to the Royals, as again Sharla Cook led the way. Coach Jodi De Rouchey was pleased with the overall performance perfor-mance of all her starters. Davis has three games this week and is now 1-4 on the preseason. Action will be somewhat limited for the ladies as well, with Christmas Christ-mas break on the horizon. Bountiful hosted Bonneville Tuesday, Davis traveled to Layton Tuesday, will host West Jordan this afternoon and go to Bonneville on Friday; Viewmont View-mont hosted Taylorsville Tuesday and travels to American Fork on Thursday; and Woods Cross hosted Tooele Tuesday and heads for Provo Thursday. Bountiful High's Robyn Ludwig (22) was fouled by this Alta player while going in for a shot during the Lady ; Braves' 49-44 victory Tuesday. Ludwig and her teammates are off to a good start, currently at 5-2 pending a late game Tuesday with Bonneville. j |
