Show Davis Dartboard. By AMBER WORKMAN The band held their annual Christmas concert Dec. 12 and it turned out to be a great success! The A'cappella and Concert Choirs also had a big performance, this time with the Utah Symphony in Symphony Hall. Children's Theatre contributed to the Christmas Christ-mas spirit by presenting "Babes in Toyland" last week in the Davis High auditorium. Activities in debate have included in-cluded the Bingham Mini Tournament Tourna-ment and the Christmas Classic Debate, held here at Davis. The Christmas Assembly will be conducted this Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m., sponsored by the student stu-dent body officers. Included in the assembly is an activity to be put on by the FFA: Kiss A Pig. Three faculty fa-culty members Mr. Jackson, Mr. Cook, and Mr. Stevens have been competing to raise the most donations for Shriners' Hospital Hos-pital for Crippled Children. Whoever Who-ever has the most money at the end of the contest will be kissing a pig for the student body. As a final word, the students extend ex-tend their condolences to the family fami-ly of Todd Renie, a sophomore, who recently passed away. Money is being raised by the students to help the family financially and all contributions would be greatly appreciated. |
