Show ORDINANCE 06-88 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DAVIS COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE ORDIN-ANCE DATED NOVEMBER 1, 1984, TO ADD INTERMITTENT COMMERCIAL COMMER-CIAL USES AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN VARIOUS ZONES BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Davis County, State of Utah, as follows: Section 1. Chapter 2 of the Davis County Zoning Ordinance dated November Novem-ber 1, 1984, is hereby amended to include the following definition: Intermittent Commercial Use: The use of a dwelling or accessory building for the retail sales of arts and crafts items on a periodic basis (see section 7-6-8). This definition de-finition does not in any way include the occasional sales or various used items in a garage or yard sale. Chapter 2. Chapter 7 of the Davis County Zoning Ordinance dated November Novem-ber 1, 1984, is hereby amended to include the following: 7-6-8 Intermittent Commercial Uses: The occasional use of dwellings andor accessory buildings for commercial purposes pur-poses may be allowed upon receiving a conditional use permit and provided the provisions of this section are complied with. The following standards shall apply to all intermittent commercial uses in addition ad-dition to any conditions the Planning Commission deems necessary and desirable desira-ble to protect the public health, safety and general welfare and in accordance with chapter 8 of this ordinance: (1) The display and sales of merchandise merchan-dise must be entirely contained within a building. (2) The building proposed for the intermittent in-termittent commercial use must comply with the setback and sight distance requirements re-quirements of this ordinance and with applicable ap-plicable building and fire codes. (3) The use shall be limited to three (3) times or events per year and no single event shall exceed three (3) days in length. (4) A business license from Davis County is required to conduct an intermittent intermit-tent commercial use. ; ' ' ' ' 1 (5) Adequate off-street parking is provided pro-vided to serve the commercial use which does not create a parking shortage for other existing uses on the site. (6) The use does not cause noise, light or glare which adversely impacts surrounding sur-rounding uses. Section 3. Section 13-3 of the Davis County Zoning Ordinance dated November Novem-ber 1, 1984, is hereby amended to include intermittent commercial uses as a conditional condi-tional use-Section use-Section 4. Section 14-3 of the Davis County Zoning Ordinance dated November Novem-ber 1, 1984, is hereby amended to include intermittent commercial uses as a conditional condi-tional use. Section 5. Section 15-3 of the Davis County Zoning Ordinance dated November Novem-ber 1, 1984, is hereby amended to include intermittent commercial uses as a conditional condi-tional use. - Section 6. Section 21-3 of the Davis County Zoning Ordinance dated November Novem-ber 1, 1984, is hereby amended to include intermittent commercial uses as a conditional condi-tional use. Sc-1. . 7. This ordinance shall become valid and effective fifteen (15) days after its passage and upon its publication in a newspaper having general circulation in Davis County. UNANIMOUSLY PASSED AND APPROVED AP-PROVED this 14th day of December, 1988, with Commissioners Harold J. Tip- petts, William L. Peters, and Gayle A. Stevenson all voting "aye." DAVIS COUNTY Harold J.
